I recall as a small child gazing in wonder at photos of Old Faithful in a kid's encyclopedia. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I would one day visit this miracle of nature to be awestruck by its power and beauty at first hand. And that is just the beginning - Yellowstone is just full of breathtaking sights. I have been privedged to visit on six occasions, for a short day trip in 1995, then for longer stays in the spring of 1997 and 1998, in the company of a very special group of friends. I made it back for another wonderful weekend in the fall of 1999, again with some great folks. I was back for another few days with the same friends in 2008 (see photos here), and then for a short visit in 2017 (photos here). I shall never tire of visiting Yellowstone.

A number of people have asked me for permission to use some of these photos in publications - I am generally happy to allow non-profit organisations free use, provided I am acknowledged, but please e-mail me for permission first.
